ПЛАН-КОНСПЕКТ УРОКА АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА В 8 КЛАССЕ
ПО УЧЕБНИКУ «NEW MILLENNIUM ENGLISH»

Тема урока: «It`s stylish».

Цель урока: закрепление лексики по теме «Clothes».

Задачи: - отработка лексики по теме «Стили одежды» в устной речи и при аудировании
- введение грамматики «Модальные глаголы» и отработка грамматических структур
- развитие устной речи при работе в группах.

Средства обучения: - учебник «Millennium English»
- аудиозапись
- презентация
- компьютер, проектор

Ход урока:

I. Приветствие и оргмомент
Good morning! I’m glad to see you! Take your sits, please and get ready for the lesson. How are you today?
- Who is on duty today?
- Who is absent today?
- What is the date today?
- What is the day of the week?
- What is the season now?
- Do you like autumn?
- What the weather like today?
The topic of our lesson today is style of clothes. We continue speaking about yourself. And now let`s repeat Personal Qualities

At home you were to read the text and fill in the gaps with the right form of the word from the box and choose the best title. ( AB ex. 1 p. 18 )
III. Обучение лексике
What clothes do you prefer wearing? Why? I would like to open your students books ex. 1a at page 41. Look at the pictures, read the names of styles in clothes and say what you would call them in Russian ( презентация )





IV. Физкультминутка
I can see you are tired. Now it’s time to have a rest. Can you listen to the poem and do exercises?
Hands on the head,
Hands on the hips,
Hands on the table,
Hands like this. (Учитель выполняет любое движение, а дети должны повторить)
Hands on the shoulders,
Hands up and down,
Hands behind the head
And sit down!

Thank you for your activity. Please, take your sits. We are going to continue our lesson.

V. Обучение грамматике. Модальные глаголы.
Look at the blackboard, please and tell what are modal verbs?
1. Определение: модальные глаголы ( слайд 1 )
2. Какие модальные глаголы вы знаете? ( What modal verbs do you know?) (слайд 2)
3. Сегодня мы с вами изучаем модальные глаголы, выражающие предположение (Modal verbs expressing deduction – must/ can`t; could/ might) (слайд 3)
4. Модальные глаголы must/can`t употребляются если мы выражаем полную уверенность в том, что говорим: must – что- то является правдой, сan`t – неправдой
Модальные глаголы could/might употребляются при выражении маловероятной возможности ( уверены в чем- либо, но не совсем ) ( слайды 4,5)
VI. Закрепление грамматических навыков по теме «Модальные глаголы».
Let`s do the exercise. Choose the right verb and then translate these sentences
1. That can`t be Tom. He is in Japan
2. It was 3 o`clock an hour ago. Your watch can`t be right.
3. Let`s tell Mum. She might not know.
4. We can`t be lost! I don`t believe in it.
5. We`re not sure, but we might go to Australia for Christmas this year.
6. How old is your new teacher? – She looks very young. She could be over thirty .
7. Tomorrow I might my classes. I will probably go to the dentist.




VII. Развитие навыков аудирования .
Please, look at the exercise 3b at page 42. Can you read the task? What does it mean? Yes, you’re right in this exercise we should define if each sentence is true or false.
First of all, let’s read the sentences.
1. Andy might be a DJ.
2. Andy must love to be the centre of attention as he wears very bright clothes and has a funny hairdo.
3. Sarah must be indifferent to what her classmates think of her clothes. She doesn’t follow fashion.
4. Sam can’t be sporty. He wears glasses.
5. Sam might like casual clothes on Sundays.
6. Laura must be from a rich family because she wears expensive clothes.
Now we should listen to the tape being careful and paying attention to the information which is given in the exercise.

VIII. Развитие навыков устной речи при групповой работе.
Ученикам предлагается разделиться на группы по 3 -4 человека, выбрать проблемный вопрос, по которому будет готовиться устное сообщение, обсудить и приготовить устное сообщение согласно плану в упражнении.
Now I would like you to make groups of three or four pupils. You should choose a place you are going to and tell about what you would wear and why? Each group should choose a statement and make a report according to the example.
Example: If I were going to a birthday party, I would dress differently because it depends on whose party it is. If I were going to my granny`s birthday party, I would put my blue dress on as my granny likes it very much, and I do too.
I give you 3 minutes to prepare your speech. ( school, picnic, disco)
So your time is over let’s listening to your speech.
IX. Подведение итогов урока.
Now you know that clothes are very important in society because most of people think that you are what you wear. Thank you for your work, put down your home task in your dairies. So at home you should prepare a good reading and good translation of the texts from exercise 1a, at page 43.
Our lesson is over. Good-bye children.
